Summerlin is a beautiful master planned community that is located along the western rim of Las Vegas Valley. It has been one of the best-selling master planned communities in the United States for the past decade. Summerlin is known for its beautiful surroundings, excellent schools, unique neighborhoods and strong business community. This city hosts a Celebration of the Arts event every May. This celebration is an outdoor festival that provides the community with an unprecedented collection of unique and one-of-a-kind original artwork for sale. The real estate market in Summerlin consists of 30 small villages each centered around its own major park or golf course. Currently, there are 15 villages that are in various stages of development. Each Summerlin village has its own distinctive architecture and design, which is evident in streetscapes and landscaping. Condominiums and townhouses can be found for about $150,000 and run up to approximately $300,000 for properties with additional amenities. Single-family properties begin in the mid $100,000s for models with one to three bedrooms. Larger, more luxurious properties start at $500,000 and run up to $5 million plus for large estate homes with mountain and or golf course views and amenities such as patios, swimming pools, and additional rooms.
